pillsbury_doughboy Pillsbury has a long standing tradition of quality in my book.  I know that when I buy a Pillsbury product, I *know* that I can count it to be GOOD.

Pillsbury’s new Savorings Flaky Pastry Bites is no exception.  They’re new and let me tell you, they’re DELICIOUS. LOL

I found them in the frozen section, right where all the other hors d’oeuvres type of snacks & whatnot.  Our store only carries 2 of the 3 varieties that they come in, so I chose buffalo style chicken over the mozzarella and pepperoni.  I wish they’d had the spinach & cheese variety, because that just sounds SO yummy too. So the photo above is of the buffalo chicken variety.  I baked them as directed, on a sprayed, foiled sheet and (begrudgingly) let them cool a bit.

They are 1 inch square before you bake them, and they plumped up just like a Pillsbury item would.  The bottoms got brown and crunchy and the tops were crisp.  The flavor was excellent.  The chicken, apparently minced, was a bit too small for me but the buffalo flavor was just right. Not too spicy, just delicious.  I asked hubby his opinion, as he doesn’t like very hot/spicy stuff, and he really liked them – in fact, he ate the rest. (the brat)

Pillsbury Savorings come 12 to a package – the box indicates that there’s 3 to a serving – and I suppose in a civilized house, that might be so LOL  However, hub & I ate the box – poof, all gone.  They were that good. :)

When you visit Pillsbury’s site, you can print out a $1 coupon for your own box (or 5) of Pillsbury Savorings, too!

My thanks to Coyne PR for the opportunity to review these Pillsbury Savorings!

Reblog this post [with Zemanta]

Do you or your family suffer from allergies?  I know we do.  Not just the typical Autumn allergies as the leaves fall and the mold spores are everywhere.  I also have problems in the house.  I just found out about this new Clorox Anywhere® Anti-Allergen Fabric spray that I can spray directly on to the fabrics in my house to help reduce the irritants that get us all sneezing.

As soon as I received it, I sprayed it on Anthony’s mattress after I’d stripped the sheets. He’s always having problems with allergies if anyone’s been in there jumping on his bed, because the mattress is ollllld.  After I sprayed it, I let it dry and put the sheets back on before bed.  He hasn’t had a sneezy problem since.

After I saw the difference it had made in his room, I went around the house spraying the couch and curtains – things that I don’t typically vacuum.  It’s made such a big difference!  My 2nd favorite part? It is fragrance free!  I’m VERY sensitive to stinky stuff so the fact that it’s NOT stinky (or perfumed or whatever) is great for me AND my kids.  Yay!

My thanks to Mom Central for allowing me to share the news of Clorox Anywhere® Anti-Allergen Fabric spray with you!

Hi there!

Yes, yet ANOTHER review blog.  But I’ve been very fortunate to work with several awesome PR people and companies that know what we moms already know too.  We are the ones who make the purchasing decisions, we are the ones who are going out and buying the things our family needs.  We are the ones who need to be convinced as to a product’s worth, reliability and, in some cases, which products we need to steer clear of.

Typically, you will not find a bad review for a product on a review blog simply because the people who are marketing the products will ask you – PLEASE do not post something negative. Talk to us first.  So in the event that I come across a product that I do not like, I will not post about it.  That is, IF I’ve been asked to blog about it.   But if it’s a product that I’ve come across on my own that has made me mad, disappointed me or ripped me off, you can be sure I’ll write about it here!

So I hope you will subscribe to my feed, and say hi when you can.  Also, would love to exchange links with you!

But it’s getting easier.  Clorox is helping in a big way, too.  As you may have noticed over in my sidebar, I’ve taken the pledge – 30 days to natural.

Natural is important to me. I would much rather use things in and around my house that are made from natural ingredients, and Clorox is helping with that too.

Their new website, 30daystonatural.com, just recently launched and provides you with the tools, tips and ideas necessary to get you closer to natural living.  They also provide you a great shopping list to print to take with you to the store the next time you’re out.

I made sure to “plant” my daisy as well – to show my commitment to living a more natural lifestyle.

You can also follow the journey of 3 moms as they trade in their traditional cleaners for Green Works products.

Before you go shopping, you really should check out 30DaystoNatural.com and see what you can do to switch to natural.

My thanks to Mom Central for giving me the chance tell you about 30DaystoNatural.com!

Qlubb So you already know I’m a geek. I love anything new, different, geeky.  So, when MomCentral asked me to check out Qlubb.com, I – of course – jumped at it.

Qlubb.com is a website where you can create your own “club” – and invite whomever you want to be included in it.  I have created my own Qlubb for my family in RI.

qlubb

I invited my mom, my brothers, sis in law, sister.  Now we all have access to our own qlubb.  Our’s is closed to the public, so no one else can see our messages, photos, etc. It’s just for OUR family.  We can send messages to each other, post photos, events, any important dates.  For example, I’ve added all the birthdays for the rest of the year.  Tommy, my brother, added the new show he’ll be in next month.  I’ve included my trip to Boston next month.  It’s just a great way to keep up with everyone else.

It’s also great for organizing all those school activities that happen for everyone.  Soccer games, teacher meetings, PTA meetings (Do they still have PTA?), even those lovely school fund raisers. I just love how everything is centralized. It’s perfect for keeping track of everyone.

Check it out!
