It’s October once again.  October is, among other things, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  This is more than just putting a pink ribbon on your lapel and declaring yourself aware.  This is more than changing your color scheme on your blog to pink and declaring yourself aware.

This is more important than that.

Master Lock knows that.

Master Lock has gone pink as well.   In an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer detection and prevention, Master Lock has introduced a line of specially designed “Pink” security products.  More than that, they are also donating $15,000 to the breast cancer research foundation (BCRFcure.com) – not only are they raising awareness, they’re raising MONEY – and money talks in research.

So be on the lookout for Master Lock’s pink products.  It’s IMPORTANT.

Blah blah full disclosure:  I received a package of TWO pink Master Locks to review for this blog post.  There – happy now FTC?

  1. My favorite is the dial one with the breast cancer ribbon in the middle.

Thanks Dawn for reminding everyone the importance of “thinking pink”! It IS more than just wearing the color….I encourage everyone to join in the crusade against breast cancer by participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. http://www.avonwalk.org It’s a wonderful organization that is committed to wiping out this horrible disease and by raising funds that go towards research and healthcare for those who cannot afford it. I am proud to be a 2 time walker and looking forward to my 3rd walk in 2010!
    Love,
    Deb
